Merge a scenario
After you create a scenario and make the necessary what-if changes, you may decide that your scenario best reflects reality. At this stage, you are ready to merge your scenario to the working budget.
When you merge a scenario, the data in your working budget is replaced by the chosen scenario.
Merge a scenario
You can merge an entire scenario into your working budget from the root of a selected scenario.
To merge a scenario in its entirety:

From the Inputs tab, click Scenarios to open the dropdown list, and select the scenario that your want to merge.
-
Click on the vertical ellipsis icon
that appears to the right of the scenario name and select Merge with budget.
-
To confirm, click Merge.
When you merge or delete an entire scenario, the scenario is no longer available in the scenarios list.

You can merge a specific part, like a budget line or group, of a scenario into your working budget from the budget tree of a selected scenario.

A scenario is only removed from the scenarios list when you merge the entire scenario or delete it.

Merge with budget is not available when you add a new or delete an existing budget line or group in the scenario.
-
