The budget line

The backbone of budget creation in Sage Intacct Planning is the budget line which represents business-related items like revenues and operational expenses. These budget lines are grouped based on similar accounts into a “tree-like” structure according to how you want to manage your budget. You can also display your budget line names in a way that's clear and familiar to you. For more information, see the topic on The budget tree.

Depending on the budget line type, you can use additional variables and attributes through the form view to customize your simple Revenue and Expense line types.
