Release 4.12.0 of Sage Intacct Planning (SIP) included a new feature and resolved a number of miscellaneous issues and bug fixes.

What’s new in this release

View your unmapped dimensions

Improvements have been made to the Dimensions mapping table in Sage Intacct Planning (SIP) to show the dimensions in your budget that have no mapping to the dimensions you imported from Sage Intacct.

Unmapped dimensions from Sage Intacct

The dimensions listed in the Budget dimensions without mapping are adjusted accordingly as you add new dimensions to your budget, or map and unmap dimensions. (For more information on adding dimensions to your budget, see the Dimension settings section of the Dimensions in Sage Intacct Planning (SIP) article.)

For example, let’s say you imported dimensions like Department, Location, Project, Customer, Vendor, Item, and Channel from Intacct, and they are mapped to the dimensions like Department, Location, Project, etc. in your budget. If you have additional dimensions in your budget without mapping, such as Category and Segment, they will appear in the Budget dimensions without mapping section of the window.

If you change the mapping of the Department dimension you imported from Intacct to the budget dimension Category, the Category dimension is removed from the list of unmapped dimensions and the Department dimension is added to the list of unmapped dimensions instead. In addition, the previous mappings of the budget dimension values are removed and you can select new budget dimension values from the dropdown that are associated with the Category budget values.

For more information on mapping, go to Map your Sage Intacct accounts and dimensions to your budget in Sage Intacct Planning (SIP).
