Release 4.6.0 of Sage Intacct Budgeting and Planning included new features and resolved a number of miscellaneous issues and bug fixes.

What's new in this release

View the GL accounts linked to your budget lines

Thanks to your feedback! Now you can have increased visibility to your GL accounts across the Budgeting and Planning application. From your budget settings, simply choose to show your GL accounts in the Inputs and/or Sheets tabs. Then, you can see the GL accounts that are linked to each budget line in your budget tree and in the editing pane.

When you activate this option, you’ll be able to see the linked GL accounts in the following views:

  • Inputs > Main and Tables tabs

  • Sheets > Cash, Profit & Loss, and Bookings tabs

  • Actuals > Summary tab (in the Cash and Profit & Loss views)

For more information, see GL accounts visibility in Budgeting and Planning.

See the full path of your budget lines and their linked accounts

Throughout the Sage Intacct Budgeting and Planning application, you often have a dropdown list to select budget lines from which to allocate or derive expenses, to define or edit actuals details or mapping, to add advanced benefits, and more.

In the past, budget lines weren't always shown with their path, which sometimes caused confusion when choosing a budget line from a dropdown list. Until now! Now, when you select a budget line from a dropdown list, you can see the full path of the budget line from your budget tree. And, if you’ve chosen to display your GL accounts (see above), you’ll see the linked GL accounts, too.
