Refresh actuals

Create a version and add actuals. For more information, see Create versions.

If your forecast shows actuals from Intacct Financials for time periods that have passed, you want to be sure the actual values stay current when corrections are made in Intacct Financials.

You can't modify actuals in your plan, but you can refresh them to show the latest values, even if the plan is locked. When you refresh actuals, you refresh them in all the plan lines of your forecast and in all versions where the same plan lines appear. This makes it quick and easy to update actuals across versions.

Maria maintains the company quarterly forecasts. The Q1 version shows actuals for January through March. The Q2 version shows actuals for January through June.

Maria knows that some actuals were recently updated in Intacct Financials. In the Q2 forecast, Maria selects to refresh actuals for January through June.

The following changes occur:

  • In the Q2 forecast, all actuals refresh from January through June.

  • In the Q1 forecast, the actuals in the same plan lines refresh from January through March and all other values remain untouched.

Start

  1. Open a plan.

  2. Select Actions > Manage versions.

  3. In the Manage versions window, select Refresh actuals.

    The Refresh actuals window shows your plan time periods with actuals available to refresh.

  4. Select the time periods with actuals you want to refresh or Select all.

  5. Select Refresh.

    After the success message appears, you can see the latest actuals in your plan.

    The same actuals refresh across all plans and versions where they appear.
